Fantastic hotel! Only about a 10 minute walk from Piccadilly station, and the city centre. The rooms are small, but perfect for anyone on a budget. Lots of storage. Shower was incredible, as were the beds. Very comfortable! Staff were all lovely, and the reception has a pretty cool layout. Will definitely re-book here if we ever end up in Manchester again! :)

I recently stayed at the Pendulum hotel. I can't thank the staff enough. Unfortunately there was a problem with the (friend) I was staying with and I needed to change my room. The lovely lady in reception... I believe it was her last shift before she started her new job was so kind to me also I think ( the catering manager) let me move to a new room. They was both so kind and helpful and nothing was any bother. I would like to thank you personally. Also the duty manager was a big help. Thank you.

Lovely beds, good preassure and temp on shower, good heating, lovely stay. I got breakfast included, continental or English breakfast is offered with many choices of drink. Lovely staff, very attentive. Slight complaint is there wasnt a plug socket next to the bed, an extra long cable can solve this. Would recommend!

This is basically a conference facility but is perfect for a trip to visit Manchester. Huge rooms and good food too. A point off because parking is expensive-around £15 a day even with the hotel discount

We liked this hotel for it's simplicity, value for money with friendly, knowledgeable, helpful staff. It is a dedicated conference hotel which means the room was small, utilitarian, clean and with towels. The day we arrived the hotel was quiet and we had the Garden Bar to ourselves with its twinkling Christmas lights. The next day was a conference day and much busier. We also ate cooked light snacks in the Garden Bar which were delicious. Bar prices reasonable too. Hotel can call a taxi for you amd they arrive quickly and similar pricing to other large towns.

I had a pleasant stay at the Pendulum Hotel. The location is fantastic — right in the heart of the city and close to everything you need, from transport links to restaurants and shops. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made the overall experience feel smooth and relaxed. Breakfast used to be one of the highlights here, and while it’s still decent, I’ve noticed a drop in both quality and value compared to previous visits. It would be great to see this brought back to its former standard, especially given the price. The rooms are comfortable, but a little more attention to detail would go a long way. For example, my room had no hooks or rails to hang towels, and the curtain tie-back was a flimsy plastic strap that couldn’t even hold a single towel. Small touches like these can really affect convenience. Overall, still a good option for a city stay — just a few updates needed to bring the experience up to the standard the location and staff already offer.

Just spent two days at the hotel. Great Location near to centre. Room was spacious, really comfortable bed (10/10) and room had everything you need. Breakfast was good value for money and the staff pleasant and helpful. Really happy with stay, can't believe score not in high 4s.

Went to a conference only. Very smart & clean hotel. Let our organisers get on with stuff & didn't seem to have "health & safety issues" to ram down their throats. 2 bar areas downstairs, with disabled access down to there. Food available.
